In the present time, three warehouses Number 1,2,3 at Long Binh ICD are operational efficiently. The occupancy of the warehouse No 1,2 & 3 is over 90%, 50% and over 70% respectively. The construction of warehouse No 4 & 8 shall be completed in July 2010. The warehouse No 8 has already been leased for the coffee storage and processing.
Regarding the Long Binh ICD Inspection Point, the volume of inspected containers were decreased 4.92% in May. The expected inspected containers in June shall be 1,200 Teus.
In the initial time of operation, with the purpose of attracting the customers to lease and use the added services, Long Binh ICD has applied a flexible policy to meet the demands of the warehouse leasees in term of the leased areas or leasing methods. We are now enforcing the Logistics services aiming at providing customers with the door to door service ( from manufacturing to the consuming of the products). It is also the target for the development of Long Binh ICD in the future to become the modern model of the Logistic Center in the Area.
