Tan Cang- Long Binh ICD joint stock company has been established from December 2007. It is an operator of the inland port and a subsidiary of Saigon Newport Corporation.
Tan Cang- Long Binh ICD has been operational since August 2009. Up to the present time, the company has developed sharply with the increase number of the customers and improvement of the handling productivity and service quality. Especially, after the inauguration of the concentrated customs inspection point at Tan Cang - Long Binh ICD in March 2010, the usage frequency of the services has enhanced considerably. More and more cargoes have arrived here for the customs inspection and clearance and this has brought the encouraging atmosphere at Tan Cang- Long Binh ICD. After over one month the inspection customs inspection point operational, the total throughput capacity is 1,300 TEUs. The increase in demand for import and export cargoes, enlargement of trading market, the concentrated customs inspection point together with warehouse and container yard within port system of Saigon Newport Company shall bring the favorable conditions to improve the co-operation process, strengthen the investment from enterprises not only in Dong Nai market but also in other adjacent provinces in the Southern focal economic area.
