In the week 45, Cat Lai Port received and dispatched 34 voyages. The average berth waiting time was only 1.3 hours/vessel. The average net productivity of the week reached 47.0 moves/vh. The delayed schedule of several vessels have made negative influence on the port- stay productivity. The port- stay productivity was only 38.1 moves/ vh.The best handling nety productivity of 69.7 cont/vh has been scored with MSC Wellington- V:8844R.
Thanks to the positive support from SNP, the release of the long staying reefer containers form Cat Lai reefer CY was done smoothly by Vinafood. The overall average CY occupancy at Cat Lai was only 52%. The delivery/ receipt time ( calculated fron gate- in) did not exceed 30 minutes. The TOPX has proved its efficiencies in optimizing the CY and shipside plans, shortening the berth waiting time and minimizing the shifting and fuel used for the equipment. In the week 46, SNP will summarize and evaluate the efficiencies of running TOPX, grant the awards the to the teams and staffs making pisitive contribution to the success of the program deployment.
