In May, TCCT handled 13 mother vessels with the total throughput of 24, 758 Teus. The port stay time has been reduced- only 17.5 hours/ vessel. Net productivity reached 78.1 cont/vh. Especially, the Maximum net and port-stay productivity was 92.3 cont/vh and 80.1cont/vh respectively (those reached with Vessel MOL SOLUTION - voyage 107W/108E. The berthing schedule has been arranged properly as per the registered schedule. Especially, Mitsui O.S.K Lines (MOL) has carried out the trial of turning the vessel MOL PARTNER at night successfully under the supervision of Mr. Iwaya- the man in charge of the maritime safety of MOL in Hong Kong. The vessel turning at night will help the shipping lines to save cost and create the convenience for TCCT in the vessel dispatch.
In May 2010, More consignees and shippers have their containers delivered and received directly which made up 14.8% of the total volume. The shipping lines have also facilitated the customers by giving the orders of empty delivery and receipt directly at TCCT instead of returning or receiving the empty containers at the ICDs and depots in Thu Duc District, Ho Chi minh City
TCCT and relating units of SNP has ensured the undertaking of the barging the import and export containers between TCCT and Cat Lai, the ICDs in HCM city. Regarding the outbound containers, all the export containers arrived at TCCT 6 hours before the ETA time. The transshipment container from Cambodia increased 8%. SNP has diversified the services by deploying the barging route of Tan Cang- Cypress (a subsidiary of SNP) to connect Cambodia’s ports and TCCT with the departures of the barges from TCCT on Wednesday- Thursday
