On 26th and 27th July 2007, Representatives of HanJin, Psion Teklogix, USTDA and Lao’s delegations visted SNP Company. General Director Nguyen Dang Nghiem, Deputy General Directors and representatives of Departments warmly received the delegations at the great hall of Company.
General Director and Deputy General Directors of SNP had brief introduction about premises and development projects of SNP and expressed its desire to have closed co-operation with partners not only in the field of seaport but also in the others.
Mr. Kuk-We Jeong – General Manager of the Terminal Departments of HanJin showed his interest in co-operation with SNP in different projects besides Cai Mep project especially in the field of port and warehouse management Software, logistics and training co-operation. Mr. Nghiem paid attention to sending employees to Busan (Korea) for a traning course of port operation and crane driving.
Mr. Dominique Binkly – Vice Chairman of Psion Teklogix Corporation said that Psion Teklogix specializes in supplying of Port and intermodel solutions for seaport, airport, transportation and logistics services. In the coming time, Psion Teklogix will appoint their experts to SNP for further survey & study in order to find out practical solutions for SNP with the purpose of creating overall connection when SNP put the port operation managing system into operation in the end of 2007.
Mr. Leonard Sugin –Consulting Engineer of USTDA paid his attetion to Barge team development project for transportation from Cai Mep to HCMCity. He said in the case SNP had its plan in details and feasible project, the USTDA can supply non-refundable finance source for the project. USTDA will also send the list of American suppliers of consulting services & barges for SNP choice. Mr. Sugin was proposed to supply information and pictures of the barges commonly used for container transportation in the USA. Two parties expressed its desire to have co-operation opportunity in the near future.
Mr. Bouphet Sayasane – Deputy Director-General of Transport Department showed his appreciation of modern scale of Cat Lai port and wished to learn experiences of building & developing Logistics system from SNP Company
