Forwarders, importers & exporters, especially the shipping lines of The New World Alliance, Grand China, CKYH, Zim and CSAV Norasia shipping companies with the service namely ASIAM (Asia – America) has added port of Oakland of the U.S to the route. With the inbound/outbound rotation: Cai Mep ( VN) - Yantian - Shanghai - Ningbo - Long Beach - Oakland - Pusan - Shanghai - Ningbo - Chiwan - Port Klang - Colombo - Nhava Sheva - Mundra - Karachi - Port Klang and back to Cai Mep, CSAV took the advantage of the booming trade relations between Vietnam - United States while providing a direct route between the two countries, connection from Vietnam (Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal, Tan Cang Terminal, TCCT) to Long Beach 22 days, Oakland: 25 days.
