In April, TCL signed the service contract with Clover Vietnam and Globe-express. TCL has also continue its deployment of the investment projects. Regarding the Sunimex project, TCL has signed the general agreement minutes on the establishment of Tan Cang- Ben Thanh service JS company (BTL) . This is the company of three founders including TCL, Thu Thiem Investment JS company and Ben Thanh Corporation. The chartered capital of BTL will be VND 150 billion. BTL shall carry out the Logistic business on the area of 10 hectares of land which is adjacent to Cat Lai terminal. BTL shall be established in Q2 of 2010. TCL has also been deploying the project namely Tan Can -Cai Mep ICD. In the end of April, the founding shareholders held the first Meeting in the head office of Saigon Newport Company. The partners shall continue their discussion and necessary procedures to establish the ICD in Q2/2010. The General Shareholders Meeting 2010 of TCL was organized successfully on April 2nd 2010. The shareholders were very happy and satisfied with the business achievements of TCL in 2009. 2009 was an extremely difficult year for the world and domestic economy which made negative impact on the import- export cargoes. However, TCL has made impressive business results. The total earning of the company was VND 521 billion (a year on year increase of 50%), the pre-tax profit was VND 108 billion ( an increase of 33.5% in comparing to those of 2008) and the interest per share was VND 5,076 ( year on year increase of 21.3%). The TCL dividend of 2009 was 25%.
