During week 40 Cat Lai port handled 44 vessels, an increase of 3 vessels in comparison with the previous week. The average berth-stay time was 18.5 h/vessel and departing-waiting time was 2.0 h/vessel (increased by 0.1 h/vessel). Net productivity was 46.8cont/vessel/h and Port stay Productivity was 40.8 cont/h/vessel. The maximum productivity was 65.7 cont/vessel/h when handle Vessel YM IMMENSE _ YML – 47B/N. Thus, in the week, the vessel releasing productivity (both Net and Port stay) of Cat Lai Port increased (Net: 1.3 cont/h, Port stay: 0.2 cont/h) thank to the stability of berth plan with no pressure of berth congestion. The yard occupancy and operation were large. Several vessels, completing handling in a relatively short time, were compelled to wait for high tide for unberthing, which resulted in a minor drop in Port stay productivity.
