In June, the total throughput in warehouse continues increase sharply by 157 percent. The warehouse capacity has been reaching the impressive figure of 100%. Textile materials, agricultural products such as coffee, cashew, rice, furniture have put the remarkable signs in import and export into warehouse at Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD. Consuming goods such as electric appliances, cosmetics, diaries, and confectioneries keep on speedy growth of imports in warehouses in June and estimated to increase in the coming months. Current valued clients are now in demand for more space and value added services such as logistics, distribution services to adjacent cities and provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria – Vung Tau. The total throughput in general warehouses soared definitely with 160% and slightly increase in bonded warehouse with 135%. The 7th warehouse is about to complete the foundation phase. It is estimated the new warehouse will be fully constructed and functional by the end of this year. The total warehouse area will be 126,000 sqm.
