Output of TCCT steadily increased in July in comparison to that in June 2011 with net productivity of 85 cont/hour.
In July, national import-export volume increased slightly. However, operations in TCCT still meet the requirements of customers and shipping lines, especially inbound transportation by barge from TCCT to Tan Cang Terminal, Tan Cang - Cat Lai Terminal and some ICDs in HCMC and outbound transportation from HCMC to TCCT always ensure time commitment.
The majority of outbound reefer containers at TCCT are now being transferred from HCMC. However, TCCT is also providing PTI service for empty containers upon request of shipping lines. PTI service has been deployed since TCCT started operations and has gained crucial confidence of the world biggest shipping lines such as: Grand Alliance (NYK, HapagLloyd, OOCL), CSAV, MOL…
Currently, shipping lines being OOCL, HapagLLoyd and MOL have delivered empty containers to TCCT and Tan Cang – Long Binh ICD as well as allowed customers to return empty containers to these premises to meet the requirements of customers who have inbounds/outbounds at TCCT.
