Output of TCCT has steadily increased in May than those of April, 2011. Especially, there is one more direct service from TCCT to the main ports in the US West Coast.
In May, three members from the Grand Alliance carriers being NYK, HapagLloyd and OOCL opened direct service from TCCT to major US West Coast (Los Angeles, Oakland) and some Asian ports (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) with direct time of 16 days only. Sailing every Sunday, this provides more convenience to the import / export customers using the services of TCCT.
The third barge berth of TCCT will be completed in the middle of June, 2011. Upon the completion of this berth, the total length of the barge berth shall be 262m. The 3rd barge berth shall be equipped with modern quayside gantry crane, ensuring high handling productivity. The enlargement of the barge berth at TCCT shall meet the increasing demand of barging from Ho Chi Minh City to Tan Cang - Cai Mep Terminals ensuring service quality and commitment in term of cargo delivery/receipt time for consignees and shippers.
Since 30 April 2011, the completion of road No. 965 connecting Highway 51 to TCCT created convenience and ensured smooth and safe transportation for clients and vehicles to/from TCCT.
